|
At a combined Men's & Women's Meeting the group looked at what recreational programs are in the community that involves children of all ages. 13th March was our first Family Fun Day for Mapoon. A small committee was established to organise the activities for the day. There will be sports events for the adults and for the children there will be races to run and treasures to be found. The day will continue with a sausage sizzle and icy cold drinks to quench the thirst.
We hope to continue to the Family Fun Days. Vistors are welcome to come along and enjoy yourself on any of our Fun day week-ends. For future dates you can contact the Mapoon Aboriginal Council.
